Why should we clear other land mines, when we are ACTIVELY BLOCKING the efforts by relief organizations from clearing American-made mines?

I already told you - you created the Bin Laden problem, you solve it. You aren't asking the Pope for solutions, are you?

Clinton was responsible for Indonesia. Is he recent enough?

I know this isn't relevant to your conversation with Thomas M but

he's going to spend money on removing American mines from the Korean peninsula and SE Asia (the only place I'm aware of where US minefields might be).

And Guantanamo Bay, and left over mines from WWI and WWII in Europe. I'm not supporting Thomas side of the argument or attacking your side, just adding some detail that you can both can include in your arguments if you want to.
