I also liked the speech, even if it was a little corny at times. Very wise moves rattling off the foreigners killed, to thank the rest of the world for their assistance, and to explain that this is not a religious battle. Ya' done good George! There is no way the Taliban will, or could, meet the demands. He basically said they are "toast". Someone probably posted this here. Have been collecting links all day and just now getting to read all the excellent information. This one is unusually informative and explains Pakistan's role in all of this.
