Not too long ago in a relatively remote area of Columbia, two union organizers were hauled off and murdered, one outright, the other after being tortured. They worked for a large bottling company, pumping out 50,000 cases a week. They were organizing because the bottling company was violating national labor laws. It is generally accepted in the area that the perpetrators were members of the ultra-right paramilitary units of the army. The employer? Coca-Cola. Now, Coca-Cola has been sued in US court, claiming they hired the killers. Welcome to Globalization, a return to the 1930's in America, except worse for them.
