Same here Buckey, no mention of Canada anytime. Now what I'm wondering, from what I heard on the radio this morning - that the Taliban won't turn Bin Laden over - is what the US are really going to do. From the speech I would say they will find them camp by camp and bring them to justice, and it's going to be a long campaign. Great address overall.

Great sspeech but as a Canadian I took a slight offense to the ommission of a reference to Canada when he was talking aboput all the other countries such as Britain

and as a Canadian I sent a message to our PM who will not go out of respect to NYC on Monday next because he has to return to Toronto for a 600 dollar a plate Liberal fund rising dinner.

Hey maybe the Liberal Party should donate the proceeds to help those in NYC that have lost so much.

Maybe we Americans "assume" to much about our Canadian friends to the north... As far as people I know, I know as many Canadians as Americans.

I guess it is "assumed" that with the largest undefended border in the world that Canadians and Americans share much. Good and bad.

I appreciate all of our Canadian friends...

Thanks guys and gals!

Tom

On CNN Colin Powell with Brian Manley, Canada's Foreign Minister, just gave a hearty thank-you to Canada and our efforts in the WTC tragedy. Said we will be drawing on each other heavily in the coming fight against terrorism ... seems they heard our nose was out of joint after Bush neglected to mention Canada in the long list of countries thanked in his speech last night.
