Looking at the chart for FAX, it could go lower -

also looking at RD (Shell Oil) XOM, BP

RD has a nice dividend (4.5%) but will they be able to keep it up ? Lots of exposure to nasty parts of world, and decline in demand can kill prices...

I'll wait...

tempting to buy fax, but there are two issues that have moved me out of it for the moment. A$ is heavily raw material oriented and though we're getting pretty low on the metals I'm not going to call any bottoms in this market.

the other reason which I was less worried about prior is the fact that dividends are greater than income. When the A$ was looking stronger, I thought the dividend issue could possibly work itself out with help for a stronger currency. That prop is gone at least temporarily...

There are some very attractive yields out there today..tempting tempting.
