wishful thinking on my part...maybe Mubarek is the first coalition arrangement to begin to "get inside" Iraq.

I could understand if Mubarak was not particularly effusive as I believe he has his own home grown radicals to worry about and it is not in our interest to see Egypt destabilized but his actions in snuggling up to Iraq are indefensible until they are eliminated as a suspect in these attacks....
