Hank, we got hit and hit hard, but we are far from being down on even just one knee. A lot of people are talking about valuations, but when was the last time that the total value of the US market was under our GDP, The Wilshire 5000 at 8900, puts a valuation of about 8.9 Trillion relative to an economy of $10 Trillions even if I take out the $100 B or so hit we are going to take from the results of the Sept 11 events. Can we go lower? yes, but we will not stay at these levels for long, unless you believe that we are facing an economic contraction in excess of 10%, I doubt that very much.
