I think that region requires more software than hardware. If you are talking of Afghanistan/Pakistan : i.e. not Routers and PDA's but Schools, Police, Courts, IRS. followed by roads, hospitals, trucks etc. For the rest of the ME, it is not access to technology that is the problem, You can get all the technology you want in Dubai, besides Satellite TV keeps you in touch at a far lower cost and it is already there. Changes in attitude take a very long time and usually cannot be bought for a few stray greenbacks.
