OT The last war I watched I was in Nigeria and we smuggled a couple of satellite receivers and amplifiers. I asked one director of the telecom to loan us a 4 meter diameter dish and we assembled the system.

We had Formula One car race, we had Sky Movies and we had Sky News. There I watched the Gulf War in Sky News.

But the Sky network had a another channel that brought Wrestling and -for us who hated wrestling, one of the members of the team that built the system liked it. So I watched a tough looking Colin Powell say -on Sky News:
"We are going to find this army. And we are going to kill it!"

Then I changed the channel and watched a tough looking wrestler said: "I am going to meet this guy right here. And I am going to beat the shit of him!"

After watching both channels for a while I discovered that the stories were the same: In the wrestling channel there was only tough looking guys, much muscle but no blood.

In Sky News showing the Gulf War was the same thing. Tough talk but no blood. The casualties I saw was a plane crashing on take off in Ramstein in Germany killing 13 men. Then there were some helicopter accidents.

But the big killing we didn't see it. There was lots of intelligent bombing. And some not so intelligent too: The Patriot missiles -the heroes of that war- hit Scud missiles on the air. So instead of the target being hit by a single war head, the whole area was sprayed of deadly falling stuff resulting form the incoming missile destruction plus remains of the Patriot missile.

Most likely this war will happen in the same way. Much talking, most photogenic bombing but not much killing rest assured this war is going to be much like last Gulf War.
