Tell that to the Los Angeles Policeman involved in the Rodney King fiasco.

Law is trumped by politics.

Besides the US court is not the World Court. Sharon should stand trial in a "world" court, that is supposed to be neutral.

Chalu2, I am not sure what you say about Iraqui grievenaces. What does Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan have in common? All of them are ruled by dictators who have come to power through the use of force, through the imposition of themselves on their people, through the imposition of fear in their own people. So what grievance we are talking about. Is it not the grievance of the people on whom Saddam has imposed himself. How do you justify in Saddam killing his own son-in-law, causing his daughter to become a widow, causing his grandchildren to be fatherless? So let us keep our perspective. Does Islam teach such killings as Saddam has done? Surely not?
