Falwell and Robertson have shown America who they really are. They are just as sick as any terrorist could be, using God to implement their campaigns of hatred. Their followers are just as guilty as followers of any other group of religious extremists.
I hope after Americans have seen and felt the actions of religious extremists, they will not continue to contribute to the 700 Club, Liberty University, or any of the organizations led by either Robertson or Falwell. They are every bit as dangerous to America's future as any other extremist groups.

Sad indeed, at least, Ben Falwell was repentant and came back on Heraldo's shows, pounding his chest in remorse to say quite clearly "MeaCulpa". Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, Ben never organized storm troops to burn a gay bar or murder physicians practicing legal abortion. The Abyss between the two Ben is greater than the abyss between "just evil" and "truly evil", it simply shows that after al these years, he still do not understand the basic tenet of the Bill of Rights, namely, he can think and speak about what is "right" but must let me think and speak about what i think is right despite the fact that it is probably the diametric opposite of what he holds true.
