Japan's Demise:
Japan's secular bear market is the result of a declining birth rate since 1949. I've found that negative demographics, i.e., progressively greater numbers of 60+ citizens and relatively less numbers of 40+ citizens invariably correlates with poor stock market and economic performance. Our situation is deteriorating, but in less extreme fashion, and is tempered by substantial immigration, both legal and illegal.
