the Stern Gang and the Irgun? >>

So you understand now the difference between attacking civilians and "British/Israeli" troops...

Thomas, By the way I do not take an issue with the point that in the war between Israel and Arabs, one may want to chose Arab side/point of view, just as long as one understand that the Central Issue is Israel right to exist, and no one (enemy above all) should expect Israel to fight this with "glove" hand....The opinion is that if Israel gives this or that, and by some divine intervention will get piece is simply absurd...Now if you chose the point that Israel does not have right to exist, and Palestinians have the right to fight anyway they want, that is o'key as long as you understand that there are predictable consequences....

Just for those interested in the facts:

1. The Irgun was founded to combat the extensive terror tactics of the Arabs led by the Mufti of Jerusalem (who was btw, an open Nazi as well as a terrorist)

2. They were a small faction (& the Stern Gang was a smaller splinter group).

3. They struck military targets, not civilian.

4. Ben Gurion brought them to heel, ending terror tactics and instituting rule of law in Israel (a young officer named Yitzkhak Rabin blew up a supply ship that was an object of dispute between the Irgun and the Palmakh). An important point notably lacking in Palestinian controlled territories.

Right you are, M Thomas, Begin and Shamir were warlords of their times, and they did order bomb planting.

1/ But don't you find it strange that the King David authorities (British occupier. They have admitted the fact time and again) received a phone call fifteen minutes before the bomb went on telling them it was going to happen and that they better evacuate.

2/Don't you wish the al qaeda did the same on 9-11 ?

3/Aren't you surprised by all those israeli helicopter missiles exploding in empty police offices. Does it mean that there is no one is ever working there ?

4/Can you recall of any claim of any palestinian phone call before a bomb went off ?

5/ Can you contribute of any phone call before, the US ambassies blasts, the Cole etc.

If you can't dispute those facts, you should redirect your "rogue terrorist state" address.
