Mike...Jerome, I am curious, what is it you think the Taliban and Osama Bin Laden should teach us which is truly worthy of learning? <<< The Taliban will teach us nothing except where they are hiding. My Point was, and I have mentioned it in previous posts is that we should wage two simultaneous wars...1) One on hunger and the other against terrorists. It might cross your mind that if you feed the hungry and the starving in that area of the world we might make a few friends in that area of the world. Desperate people are always the most dangerous. And that goes for Christian, Jew or Moslem. >>>You suggest that somehow the US should learn something from this. <<< Right....we have to start viewing the problem from different perspectives....Security will not solve the problem...solving some of the problems may leave us with less need for security.
