Albert, Re: EPS numbers

This may be a little dated, but I was looking at the Yahoo Research EPS estimates for 2002. For AMD, the average estimate is $0.47, and for Intel, the average estimate is $0.67. Given the Friday close prices of $9.30 for AMD, that gives a forward P/E of 19.78. For Intel, their closing price of $19.30 would give a forward P/E of 28.80. These seem pretty reasonable to me for slow growth companies, but I think both Intel and AMD have a better future than this. Then again, let's see what happens after some new estimates come in. Future EPS estimates could end up being a lot lower.
