Silence does NOT imply that things are not important, it implies respect for others.

My mother always taught me to be silent in company (company that was not VERY familiar) about religion, money and politics- NOT because those things were not important, but because they were so important people were bound to get heated about them.

<One thing I can think of that animals don't do, and that is worship God. >

In the beginning, ..., God created ant. And it was good.

Greg, how would YOU presume to know ALL the revelations of God? Greg, in your written thoughts here on the various S.I. venues, there is one common theme: you (, and many of other religious people) presume to know the mind of God through revelations. I think that these are from potentially suspect sources, with the message carried by people we now know were totally wrong in their metaphysics.

You are asking me to align myself with those who have been consistently wrong in the past, especially, in their public policy. Not gonna do it. These prophets have track records that really suck. I can prove that much of my point today, but I digress.

So, ALL I'm asking is for silence for goodness' sake. A little silence can't hurt anyone. Especially from this or any other government on the subject of religion.
