the israelis should minimize their casualties. if, as it appears, they will continue to suffer casualties as long as arabs on in the west bank, they should push them out of the west bank. way more than enough jews have already been killed by the arabs. this is not a game. it is clear the world does not care about jews being killed. the israeli government should recognize its obligation to its people and not allow continued killing of them, whether soldier or civilian.

Thanks for the above. If my memory of what followed concerning the position of the Brits is correct, here is how the story unfolded :

When they were catching people from Irgun or Stern, they trialed them and hanged them. ( till the last day, Nov 30 1947 UN resolution)

The Jewish fighters had found a countermeasure to the hangings.

For each death, they kidnapped an British Officer, undressed him to his underwear only, put him in a locked metal cage and left him in an early morning downtown.
For the Englishmen, that did it.

Quite civilized. For both parties, IMO.

Israeli terrorism against King David hotel a "legitimate military target"?

Are you insane?

Many civilians, including 20 Israeli Jews, were murdered by this Zionist terror bombing. It was an act of terrorism against the very people and nation who had help create Israel through the Balfour Declaration. It is only one example among many that proves that the government and leaders of Israel have always used terrorism to further their political and theological agenda.

As for Israelis, they really need to extend the capabilities of their non-lethal riot control arsenal, to something other than rubber bullets (or real ones).

If you know of non-lethal methods that will work when the rock throwers are backed by the Tanzim with automatic weapons, I'm sure the Israelis would love to hear it.
