Yep. Agreed. That's why I have decided to discard the views of the ideologues at the NYT and Boston Globe. JLA

You can draw a reasonable cross-section of news from serious sources of varying centrist bias without having to include the ranting of ideologues from either direction. Right on the mark. This directly speaks to the state of the thread I jocularly refer to as "a zealot-free zone, where we judge the material and not each other." The posts this weekend were a bit on the wild and woolly side (like so many other threads routinely are) and now I wonder if we are reaping a harvest of friction because of it (like so many other threads so routinely do).
