Jerome, There are natural alliances in the mideast being formed. Remember the enemy of my enemy is my friend. That applies to Saudi Arabia, Iran, the former soviet muslim states, Turkey, but most importantly to Pakistan. Those maniacs who roam the streets there will not topple the regime and ultimately will be dealt with harshly. The second part of all of this is the "Jerome" Marshall plan for the region which will do more to eliminate the anti-americanism in the area. mike

OT I hope Bin Laden is dead before we capture him. If he were captured alive by US forces, what would we do with him? Make a monument at the base of the NEW WTC towers. As part of the monument, burry a 4'x8' cell below street level with a stainless steel grate at the top to let in food and water. Have this right at walking level. Have a small drain at the bottom of the cell to let fluids drain. This grate would be at the base of a great monument with the names of all killed in the 9/11 disaster. The names would be on the front of the monument and this grate at the top of Bin's cell would be behind the monument. Make a tacky sign and post it on the back of the monument with an arrow pointing towards the grate and the simple words "Urinal". Allow the surviving fire fighters to take turns flushing out the cell at the end of each day with a fire hose. Seems fitting. Kirk

One is supposed to be tried by his peers. Does Bin have any peers in the US? Will they allow muslims to sit on the jury? Tough questions, and a tougher test if ladin is captured and brought here to be tried, for a country that prides itself on demacracy.
