Oh come on..the media MUST be allowed with the troops in war just as they ALWAYS have been up until the great censorship move during the gulf war. They are never allowed to just send out the story until they have permission, but it is of the utmost import to have a record of the military. It's never hurt, and any democracy must have the press reporting. It is my suggestion that the stories could easily be passed through a high up committee made up of civilian and military personnel to make the decision as to when and exactly what can be released when safe for those in the field and the campaign.
