Jill, No, I don't see it that way, nor do I see myself as having a cause. However if you see it that way, then I'll stop posting. OK, but please understand that is not what I seek. History should be looked at from a broad perspective. I presume we are not doing that... (see also: chip shots) I characterized this thread recently as a bit jingoistic I happen to agree with you. But heaven knows the other chat threads are much worse. When I describe this thread to my friends I tell them, "It's not a bomb the hell out of them kind of thread." Incidentally, I think many of us are just starting to wrestle with the Jingoism/Bill of Rights issues that are appearing. It's hard to be objective still being so close to this horror. but amazingly informative. I'm very pleased with the enthusiastic participation by so many, including yourself.
