He said he was there for a year! How can you want a Liar in office? You didn't answer my question about Gore making decisions that involve having to kill someone? Bush has what it takes to deal with the real world. Gore doesn't. Gore is a consensus man and cannot make the tough decisions on his own. I know your smart man. M.

Dan3, re: I don't want to start some kind of fight about this, especially with all that's going on in the world right now, but give the guy who enlisted, then spent time in the jungle in Vietnam a little credit, OK? Both of them are completely unqualified for any war related planning or execution. However, with Bush we got ourselves a top notch, experienced senior staff. With Gore, no one knows what kind of staff he would have brought on board. I personally can't think of better people working for the current president, can you?

What Bush did, that I don't think Gore would have done, is pick the right team to back him up, and then LISTEN to them. Bush's team has been described as a "war cabinet" by Chris Matthews which in retrospect was very appropriate.
