As you ALL must know by now - I am a COMMITTED (and as an aside should be put into an institution) CPQ shareholder and BUY only CPQ hardware. I posted on Saturday that I had ordered an EVA N600c (with some bells and whistles) WELL, on Monday CPQ announced the Presario 2700 --- a like-ish laptop to the N600c but probably (all totaled) approx. $1,000 less with a 15" vs 14" screen, Windows XP vs Win2K-or-Win98SE, Microsoft Software though it is a little heavier (5lb vs 7.5lb) than the N600C. I CAN'T be exact because the Presario 2700 'specs' on CPQ's website are a bit light vs the COMPLETE ones available for most CPQ hardware including the N600c. So .... I have been trying to raise someone at CPQ to assist me in differentiating the two ..... MY travels: There are Presario 'consumer' salespeople/supervisors and then there are EVO 'business' customer salespeople/supervisors ---- (1) NEVER WILL THEY TALK TO EACH OTHER NOR GIVE VALUABLE INFORMATION nor (2) DO THEY KNOW ANYTHING CORRECT ABOUT the over-the-transum same-company product ---- which can assist ME in making may decision how to DONATING to CPQ approx. $ 3,000. As a CPQ-ist this is TRYING (at a minimum) my COMMITTMENT (and what about those non-CPQ-ists ??). ANY SUGGESTIONS ???????? FRUSTRATED (& DISAPPOINTED) (& PI$$ed) --- Michael
