Constantine
could it be because intel is n ot willing to loose it's MHz crown in mobile market and T 1.26 is a vaporware.....
then again it could be that "unexpected" demand....
some day we shall meet that mr unexpected .....

RE:"Comb, They are not sold out. They are not available. I am curious as to why."

This is just more Intel-Dell marketing Phud...
They have been doing it for years...
Intel cherry picks 50 chips sends them to Dell who makes up a flyer...
When you take the bait they switch you down to a lesser speed chip...the old bait and switch.

"They are not sold out. "

There are lots of signs that Intel cannot produce chips on their 0.13 micron process in any volume despite protests to the contrary. There just are not any chips out there to speak of, and there is no good reason except that they cannot be made. Now I suspect this has more to do with Intel trying to get 0.13 micron chips out of their 0.18 micron equipment with hard phase shift masks than anything else. i.e. don't really look for these chips until next year.
