Interesting report, Tom. Now who was President when it was learned that Osama had a plan to hijack planes?

So just let PILOTS CARRY GUNS....oh yeah....and anyone then with a fake badge and a uniform will switch positions and FLY THE PLANE right out of the gate!
Most ludicrous and dangerous.....the pilot's LET THE GUY SIT WITH THEM....!
The security will then have guns everywhere in the plane...in the back in the front, in who knows who's possession.
Gee, guys, the other pilot is sick, so I'm taking his place....oh, ok...here's the yoke!
The YOKE is on YOU

"The cockpit voice recorder from hijacked United Flight 93 shows that a Middle Eastern man posing as a pilot had already gained access to the cockpit and was sitting in the jumpseat when the plane left Newark Airport.."

I was under the impression that the voice recorder recorded on a continuous belt only about a 1/2 hour long. The plane left Newark at 8:01 AM and crashed at 10:00 AM. Does anyone know for sure the recording capacity of the cockpit recorder?
