This is what AMD said when they sold off their communications chip business a year or so ago. Given next quarters losses, it has not worked out that well. Certainly they will be even more focused now, and it is probably too late to change strategy. Cutting costs makes sense.

SK, I agree cutting costs is smart right now but what did those two fabs produce?
