Sounds like no type of aphasia. Bush gave a speech the other night that has been called one of the greatest ever.

It results from damage to the side of the brain dominant for language. For most people, this is the left side. Aphasia usually occurs suddenly and often results from a stroke or head injury, but it can also develop slowly because of a brain tumor, an infection, or dementia.

I have heard nothing to suggest the President has Aphasia. I think you are exaggerating the symtoms to fit the disorder. However, I did hear a speech therapist commenting on his speech patterns and did attribute it to a learning disorder. He made it clear however that what we hear from his mouth is not what is going on in his brain. Quite to the contrary, he has an exceptional mind. As you no doubt know, there are many children who appear to the layperson as "dumb" but are anything but. Some get proper care, others do not.
