Poet,

<<"Thank you. This is the most lovely
thing I've seen in four days — and still warm!" >>

And I repeat,( almost verbatim) Thank you, This is the most LOVELY and TRUTHFUL)things, I have READ in over two weeks, and it is "hot off the presses".

<<An essay about the healing effects of small kindnesses for one my kindest friends:>>

Thank you so much.. You have just made my day, my month, my YEAR :).

And Poet,

When a person thinks about it, the simplicity and truthfulness of the essay is astounding. Because all societies are built upon cooperation and interaction of each individual..

Now numbering six billion, we are divided basically into very few societies, but with many subsets within each.. And thank Goodness, (thinking about it, maybe Good should become our God, quite a simple change, just add an "O", but I digress,,)

And we purr along pretty well, with all the "good" people getting along.. But then that delicate equilibrium that exists between good and evil is upset by only a few..

It does not seem fair that it takes so many good to offset one bad...

I am going to think about this essay for a long, long time..

All that talk of "good" and "evil", "Holy duty" and the "sublime", from someone who is convinced we are nothing but advanced pond scum. Seems a tad inconsistent.

My goodness.
I almost missed that, but after reading Greg's little snide post, and your reply, I went back and found it.
Thanks for posting that.

Greg is assiduously looking through the wheat for chaff. A rather pointless pursuit, imo.
