Good points -- I think Freep on the e-wave thread had a good post addressing this couple of days ago -- the psychology. I think he is right -- the disaster made folks less worried, in a way, since they viewed some of the carnage in the markets "just" a reaction to the tragedy.

Very hard to tell where things are going here ...eventually -- whether in a day or two or in a week ... you will win. We will return to trend, IMO --
I'm just futzing around hoping for a better entry ...

I posted a month ago or so that the recent spin seems to be "the effects from Fed action take nine months to a year to be seen" instead of the six-to-nine-month period that has been the standard forever. I've even seen "12 to 18 months".

Look for more talk of "9-12" and less of "6-9" the next time there's a lot of talk about Fed action.
