However, although she was a familiar figure for the Tajiks (she already interviewed Masood before), she ended somewhere in the Panjshir valley with her Tajik visa no longer valid.... So, she disappointedly took the helicopter back to Russia and then returned to France. She recalls that one Russian journalist by the name of Arkady Dubnov told her, "This flight's special... Arabs on board." Well, my guess is that this "Arkady" was likely an FSB agent sent in to keep an eye on the Arab stoolies --if only to make sure they don't screw up the GPS-camcorder...
