I understand and sympathize with the concern. From a Constitutional standpoint, many of the civil liberties we and visitors are guaranteed do not exist at the border when one is entering the US. 15 of the 19 individuals who participated in the WTC bombing were in our country illegally. The pendulum has swung too far in the wrong direction when it comes to immigration policy. INS allows even those with expired visas to enter anyway and merely commands them to show up at the nearest INS center within a prescribed period. Can you guess what happens in the majority of cases if the person "no-shows"?

I am waiting for the dust to settle, and details to emerge, before concentrating on new law enforcement proposals. I would imagine that the biometric idea would have some resilience, yes.

Soft shells should be light and crispy. Paper- shells, which are at a more advanced stage, are somewhat unpleasant in texture, but the soft shell should just add a little crunch......
