Dear JDN: I think you're right. bin Laden has given America a chance to draw the line in the sand. Instead of 'East/West' or 'Democracy/Communism', it is now 'Justice/Evil'. No matter what the particular motivation, there is simply no excuse for criminal murder on a mass scale. Bush's job is to see who is on the Just side, and who is on the other. The coming weeks will tell, but I think he is onto the right strategy. Isolate, eradicate, rebuild, protect and prevent. As far as the economy, my wife and I are flying tomorrow for a previously scheduled trip to Las Vegas. If the past is any indication, expect an uptick in casino stocks by the end of the weekend :)
