The fact is that it is in general use among Protestants, regardless of your theorizing, and therefore it is inappropriate to continue to refer to it as Roman Catholic.

I have an impression of Poet. We get on pretty well. But that is not what was under discussion.

No, it was not apparent that they had no common ground. I have known plenty of fairly traditionalist Christians who were not fundamentalists.......

I have never asked Poet what kind of a "Christian" she is. I know what kind of a "person" she is.

This is right on the mark, Solon. Questions about what exactly I believe as a Christian, and the labels and judgements that inevitably follow are a slippery slope upon which I will not tread.

It's far more important what kind of people we are, not what the specifics of our ideology (religious or otherwise) is. IMO.
