Interesting post

"Man o' man, there isn't a buyer in site in this market. I think there's something that could help pull us out of this slump. If our government would provide incentive and stimulus to communication companies, to develop and provide broadband to the masses, I think things would turn hugely.
Think about it, if broadband technology was developed and available to the masses at a reasonable cost, it could change our world. Lot's of new communication products would have to be manufactured, shipped, and purchased, computers, monitors, cable modems, TV's, DVD's, etc.. We would be able to talk and view each other over the net, download movies, use interactive TV, etc.. Broadband is awesome IMO.
I think it's coming anyway, but it's kind of stuck right now.
I read months ago, an article by Bill Gates, talking about this hurdle to get broadband to everyone.
It sure would make a difference, IMO.
I already emailed my senator.
I wish our government would help with this."

I have to say I agree 100% that the government's involvement with widespread broadband development would be extremely positive for our economy. If some type of program was enacted, IMO there would be an immediate turnaround in many of the telecommunications companies.

Does anyone know if there is an email campaign to suggest this idea to members of congress?

Since it has been determined by the group we would round off the decimals in case of a tie or decision for a win, we've done that. And NO ONE wins again. but since Jorj is so intent on proclaiming his manhood, I will give him a consolation prize. Here you go Jorj.
