MikeM. You might want to look at AMEX's XNG (Gas Index) as well as PHLX's OSX and AMEX's XOI . Clearly gas is much less dependant on Mid East fluctuations which may or may not make such calls desirable to you.

Mike,

Nice moves, but give up on the gold, man. If it was still regarded as the "safe-haven" where investors flee in times of trouble it should have shot to the moon by now. IMHO, The U.S. (ie ST Bonds) have replaced it. Maybe if we see high inflation again it can regain its luster.<g>
