I caught this exchange on ESPN Radio the other day. TOny Kornheiser was talking with Jack Arute, the ABC sideline commentator. Tony asked Jack when, make that if, Paterno would break Bear Bryant's record this season. Jack Arute said "no". Kornheiser says, "What? But he needs only two wins." Arute: "They're that bad."

IMHO, not as bad as Ohio State this year, though.

I hope we compete on Saturday. You notice I am not rooting for a win, just a good competitive game would make me happy.

Not competitive - the score was deceiving, wouldn't you say? I hope you had a good time in spite of the game. Are you coming to the Mich. game? With a 3:30 start, you should be able to get a round in before kick-off. <g>
