>>Before our support and funding for Israel, American had NEVER experience Arab terrorism.<<

On the contrary, we've never forgotten those problems with the Barbary Coast Pirates about 200 years ago.

Cut all aid to Israel, develop a Middle East policy that propagates American interests above Israeli interests, and take an even handed approach to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict.
For example, advocate that Israel removes its occupation forces from Palestinian territory, dismantle all the Israeli Settlements and support the establishment of a Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital. This was the original plan by the UN partition of 47. Also, all UN resolutions must be implemented according to International law. With this kind of even handed policy, the radical Islamics will be undercut and the moderates will all move towards support for this American plan. JUSTICE FOR ALL is the key! Israelis and Palestinians will both benefit from such a policy. The radical fundamentalist on both sides will be the losers.
Also, America must insist that both the new Israeli state and the Palestinian state allow Palestinians and Jews who become citizens of the respective states to live wherever they desire and exercise their full civil liberties. Help develop democratic insititutions in both nations. Also, the US must demand that the refugees that Israel ethnically cleansed from their homes and land be allowed to return to these homes and where this is not possible, compensate them for their loses. The US and the UN could help fund this repararition program. Well anyway, time to hit the sack. Maybe I will have time to discuss this more tomorrow depending on my schedule.

>>Our entanglement with Israel is the primary cause of the present terrorism. And the more we support and entangle ourselves with Israel, the more our citizens will be hated!<<

I think our support of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia's regime is the primary cause. bin Laden and Saddam Hussein does not really care enough about Palestinians to put so much energy into these efforts. They would love, however to topple Kuwait and the house of Saud.

No, there was a wonderful commercial relationship with Arabs over many decades. It involved Arabs killing black Africans who resisted their incursions, and selling millions of others as slaves. These were earlier victims of Arab terrorism. I have heard that one of their basic traditional gripes against Americans is having ended the slave trade, and cutting off one of their major sources of income.
