BB, talking about guns...even i gotta bitch about this gaff... yesterday, 2 generals and an admiral were given permission to order the shoot down of American civilian airliners in American airspace. shortly after that decision was announced, cnn started carrying an announcement by SecDef rumsfeld that he guarantees 100% that flying is safe...that was followed by a newsclip of W telling us to fly our families to disney world for a vacation. edit...the decision to authorize the use of American military power to kill American civilians is historic, momentous and scary...surely we deserve a better explanation. uw
