it does not require Bush to create an agitated climate, Then why does he still talk of war, and pass out war medals, all the time exempting from the list of enemies any country that was listed as a sponsor of terror? Bush want's war powers without war responsibility. TP

The point is that it does not require Bush to create an agitated climate, and, in fact, he has calmed things down. As a matter of simple fact, he does not compare it to Pearl Harbor at every chance. However, it must be noted that it was worse than Pearl Harbor: it was on the mainland United States, targeted civilians, sustained more fatalities, and there is a greater threat of similar events if we are passive, or worse, the threat of the use of weapons of mass destruction......
