Tench, RE:"Sure you did, Jim. The possible comparison between Palomino and Pentium 4 never entered your mind, now did it?" When the idea of the Palomino PR rating came out nearly everyone thought is was a comparison to P4... Later, someone figured it out that it was compared to the Thunderbird...I guess I'll have to go back and look up the posts... I'm sure that it's at least indirectly aimed at the P4...however just not directly. What else would you have AMD do other than roll over and die? They obviously can't control the benchmarks like Intel can. Jim
