Thomas Barnes Reinig, 48, Cantor Fitzgerald

New York, Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Thomas Barnes Reinig, 48,
investment banker, Cantor Fitzgerald LP's ESpeed Inc. unit.

Reinig joined ESpeed in May. Previously, he worked at Lehman
Brothers and at Chase Manhattan Bank, in New York, according to
the Star-Ledger of Newark, New Jersey.

He became an avid golfer, but not to the exclusion of his
family, friends said. ``He played with his wife and his (two)
boys,'' golf partner Joe Karas told the Star-Ledger. The family
also skied and hiked together, sometimes traveling to Colorado and
Europe.

Reinig was born in New Jersey and grew up in
Bergenfield. He graduated from Upsala College in East Orange, New
Jersey, and received a master of business administration degree
from Rutgers University.

He is survived by his wife; two sons; brother and sister.

A memorial service for Reinig was held Sept. 18. A scholarship fund
has been created in his memory at the schoo; which Reinig's sons
attended.
