"We are in a bear market". DUH!!! But what I find amazing JAPG is that a recent poll showed that 50% of Americans believe we are GOING INTO a recession. Think about that. It indicates that many of those 50% probably don't believe we are already IN a recession. And, more importantly, the other 50% must believe we are NOT GOING TO ENTER ONE. I think this provides some interesting insight into the thought processes of the masses. They are clearly continuing to follow the mainstream advice of the investment banks. And, being influenced by how great things were in the recent past. Buffett says that most people make the mistake of driving down the investment road focused on their rear view mirror. Thanks for the post, and my title response was only supposed to be humorous. Robert
