Robert-- Couple of good posts...your list resembles me! (Awk!) JAPG-- We're not just in a bear market, we are in a recession, and I think we have been, no matter what the numbers on Gross Domestic Product say. However, I'd rather not wait until the market turns to become one of the smart guys, but that's probably asking too much of my wee brain. Chaz

But what I find amazing JAPG is that a recent poll showed that 50% of Americans believe we are GOING INTO a recession. Think about that. It indicates that many of those 50% probably don't believe we are already IN a recession. And, more importantly, the other 50% must believe we are NOT GOING TO ENTER ONE. It is possible (not likely, though) the other 50% believe we are already in one, as opposed to going into one. In that case, the survey is consistent with reality. :) M
