Mitch, the main points that you espouse about the rejection of the authenticity of the Gospels is certainly unprovable by you. It is universally acknowledged that the four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were written before 70A.D. This would indicate that Jesus Olivet Discourse antedates his prophesies concerning the fall of the temple and the devastion of the Holy city of Jerusalem. To the Jews, his prophesies of destruction were unthinkable nor foreseeable. Only one who had information from the omniscient God Himself, the Divine Saviour, Jesus Christ.

You cannot create any doubt in this truism among Christians because they know the risen Christ, as I do, and no amount of criticism by you or any other will shake that foundation because it is built on the "Rock of Salvation", not a house of sand.

Not one has been able to hinder the spread of Christianity for 2000 years. Crucifixion, wild beasts, burning at the stake and dungeons have been unable to stop the spread of truth, and one man with wisdom but not born again has no chance whatsoever!

You might talk to the other heretics on the other thread you frequent. There you can find agreement but you are talking to the wrong people when you try to reject the true God by intelligencia.

"Has God truly said that ye shall surely die if ye eat thereof?" Satan loves religion but we don't.

All my best to you but my prayers are that a new Christian will not be hindered by your heresies.
