Since chaz didn't post on 3/29/01, I'm presuming you are referring to the only post about csco from him on 3/29/00.

He announced why he wasn't going to invest in csco, and no one challenged him. What was the main point to which this was evidentiary? Wasn't it something about guardians of the taboo?

John, there are over 47,000 post on this thread, and thousands of them portray assumptions that have proven to be grievously faulty. I have no objection to you linking them to prove we were guilty of... something, but would appreciate it if you would do so by reference rather than inference. My feeling is that, in general, we have resisted telling others what to buy or not buy, and focused on debating the strengths and weaknesses of the enterprises we've examined. Imo, our most glaring shortcoming was a sin of omission, not commission, in not putting enough weight on valuation issues.
