Now would be a perfect time for the industry to begin a campaign to promote gold investments as a savings vehicle. Hard to understand why the group does nothing to promote this.

I note that he has three sources, one from ABX and one from PDG, both very heavy hedgers. If he didn't have the "poor investment" bias when he started, they would have made sure he had it by the time the story was done.
