Dear Rich4eagle: Believe me, no one is any TIGHTER then I am but frankly, we just dont have the information to really judge what is in the best interests of the country. I think we gotta just elect and appoint the best leaders we can and trust them to make the right decisions. Example, suddenly many want a missle defense shield, why has this popped up so suddenly? Maybe, and I dont know, they know some of our most dangerous enemies like Iraq, N.Korea etc do in fact or will soon have missles capable of reaching the Continental USA. The policy of MADD was ok with countries like Russia where they had similar beliefs as ours but for FANATICS I just dont think it would be effective, plus it would be a damn shame to have to completely destroy a country with our nuclear stuff because we were unwilling to provide a meager missle defense suitable for protection against such countries. So, in summary, I am neither for it, nor against it, I just want THE USA to be adequately protected by whatever means is the best. JDN
