You are wrong...Intel will come through this unscathed and not lay off anyone...becuse they are "Intel"...

Seriously, Barrett was very phophetic about laying off 20k.
Pretty simple...all those who were hired into the W2k runup should be a little nervous right now...because it seems we be rollin' back a few years...

Intel has gone from urgently attempting to wipe out AMD, to desperately and frantically trying to wipe out AMD - even if they have to destroy Intel's financial stability to do it.

So far, AMD has hugely improved its capital position while nearly doubling market share. Intel has seen its capital position halved at the same time its market share dropped substantially.

AMD is doing what it has to do to protect itself from what is effectively a criminal organization - crush it.
