Stay cool Bill.

English Canadians like French Canadians believe in liberty and I don't believe that more of 100 English persons will be ready to take the arms against the Province of Québec.

About the end of French Canadians, I can only say what John Maynard Keynes said to someone who asked him about some economic projections: "IN THE LONG TERM, WE ARE ALL DEATH." I could add, that in each century, they are allways some people to predict the end of the French Canadian culture.

When I look at the face of Quebeckers actually, it is more diversified than it was 30 years ago.

When I travel, I like to take a quick glimpse in telephone directory in the city where I stop to check if there is some Leblanc who live in the area. Usually, there are some. What's the point. Even if we disappear, we still be there in the roots of North America. Jack Keriouac is death but the spirit of On the road is still alive.

Yours truly,

Gilbert Leblanc
