I agree, it's well worth a reading. But in the end it is unsatisfyingly weak. Suppose a group of us encountered on a street corner a pair of men insanely angry at each other, both intent on murder. What would we do? Of course we would separate them by force. I think the same must be done in Palestine/Israel. The UN should send troops to force the Israeli settlers out of the West Bank and Gaza. And wherever fighting breaks out a no man's land should be established with barbed wire such that only the UNvarmy could be in this no-man';s land. The Mitchell report is aimed at the two insane sides and asking THEM to stop it.
